FAQ: Can the Monarch® Spin gDNA Extraction Kit(NEB #T3010) be used to isolate gDNA from plasma, serum and urine?
We do not recommend this kit for isolation of genomic DNA from plasma, serum or urine. This kit has not been validated on these sample types, and is not optimized for processing large volumes of starting material.
